Breastfeeding and Massage

The postpartum period can involve a delicate balance of self-care and childcare.

Massage therapy can help make breastfeeding more manageable by attending to tired muscles as well as offering an opportunity for peaceful recuperation.

At the Elements of Health Centre we know as a new and nursing mom it can be difficult to find downtime where you are able to catch a breath and relax. It can also be especially difficult to leave the house without your baby.

As of October 7th 2011, our clinic is offering Family Friendly Fridays wherein parents can bring their children to the clinic and enjoy a treatment.

If you need to nurse while having a massage, our practitioners will be more than able to accomodate this. We also have bouncy chairs, playpens and toys should your child be happy to play!
