Pregnancy Massage
During pregnancy, a woman’s body undergoes countless changes.
For many women, this time is affected by various stresses, both emotional and physical. Pregnancy massage is a relaxing and natural way to support a woman throughout her pregnancy and in the postpartum period.
Our Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) use various techniques to improve the circulation in soft tissue, increase lymphatic drainage, and relieve areas of myofascial pain throughout the body. In particular, massage therapy targets weight-bearing muscles and joints in order to reduce the strain or dysfunction that commonly afflict these areas during pregnancy. Our therapists will also offer suggestions for home care such as hydrotherapy techniques, postural exercises, and self-massage to support a woman’s comfort in between treatment sessions.

In addition, we use specialized pregnancy pillows during treatments to ensure that women are well-supported and able to relax completely.
