Intro to Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a non-judgmental way of paying attention in the present moment, with kindness and curiosity. This helps us relate differently to life experiences and impacts how we show up for the challenges and joys of life. It opens us to the possibility for change, breaking habitual patterns and living from a place of response rather than reaction.
This 6 week experiential program that provides participants with effective tools for coping with stress and improving their own health and well-being.
Research on mindfulness-based training consistently demonstrates positive outcomes associated with increased self-awareness, emotional and attention regulation; reduction in symptoms for various physical and behavioural health conditions including anxiety, depression and chronic pain; and positive changes in risk factors that may lead to more serious chronic ailments.
