Lounging with a book in the warmth of these beautiful summer days is just glorious, isn’t it?!

Here are some titles of fiction and non-fiction books that we are enjoying this summer:

Stephanie:

This book provides an overview of the latest research in an easy to digest way.  Truly a must read for everyone who lives and/or works with children!
The first page had me hooked.  Such a fun story of a one month adventure to the Alaskan Arctic mixed with scientific research, ancient wisdom, and actionable ways to incorporate more discomfort into our lives to improve our overall well-being.

Harris:

Days of Grace – by Arthur Ashe and Arnold Rampersad.
In the spirit of the Paris Olympics that have just started, I wanted to start the autobiography of this tennis legend. During his decorated career Arthur Ashe won at the iconic Roland Garros which is the beautiful clay court facility where the Olympic tennis will be played in the coming weeks.

Old Chinese Doctors Talk Shang Han Lun – Cao YingfuTranslated by Steven Clavey

This is a collection of noteworthy cases of the late great physician Cao Yingfu. The cases were chosen by a long time student of Dr Cao Yingfu with additional commentary included from both, the student Dr. Jiang Zuojing, and Dr. Cao Yingfu. The cases and commentary serve as an insight into the thought process and clinical discernment of these master clinicians. I am grateful to the translator, Steven Clavey, for providing access to this material

Jennifer:
