Are you experiencing low back pain that just won’t go away on its own? If so, you are not alone.
Did you know that low back pain is common and affects 60-80% of people at some point during their lifetime?

There is strong evidence to support physiotherapy for the management of low back pain. A combination of exercises and manual therapy can help to manage or improve the symptoms associated with acute, subacute, and chronic low back pain.

I recommend starting your day with a quick and easy morning mobility routine to get your spine moving.

  1. Wig wags: Lie on your back with knees bent and gently rock your knees side to side within pain free limits. Repeat 10-30 times.

  2. Pelvic tilts: Lie on your back with knees bent and gently rock your pelvis forward and back by flattening your back towards the bed and then arching it away from the bed. Repeat 10-30 times.

  3. Knees to chest: Lie on your back and then hug your knees towards your chest. Hold for 30 seconds. Repeat 1-3 times.
